Does hpv always turn into cervial cancer?

No: There are many types (strains) of the hpv virus, and only a few of them have the potential of causing cancer. In fact, many of these can be fought of by the body and you may never know you had them. The hpv vaccines target the worst of the strains.

No, but.....: Hpv does not always cause cervical cancer. However, there are certain strains where the risk is higher. Your doctor can provide you with your particular strain and the associated risk.
