Vaccine: Does she get the flu vaccine every year? If not, you should think about getting her protected every year, before the flu season starts.

Doubtful diagnosis: Typical "flu" (influenza) causes fever, cough, bodyaches and occasional vomiting. Diarrhea is generally not a part of true flu.
