It only helps certain types of hair loss and needs to be used for a few months to see if it is going to be helpful. This is the only topical medication that has been proven clinically to help. Olive oil should be used on your salad and not on your hair.

No: Rogaine (minoxidil) in female strenght is okay for female with thining hair . At 21 years if your hair is already thining you need to see a doctor. If you just need to grow your hair eat a balanced diet good hair care and minimize dandruff or toxic shampoo. Some hair care containing olive oil may reduce dry scalp hence may be okay.
