Possibly - 3 ways: If scrotal trauma results in injury to the vas deferens or epididymis, scar tissue can obstruct sperm transport. If bilateral, then no swimmers get to the ejaculate. If the blood supply is injured, the testicle can atrophy (shrivel), resulting in loss of sperm and testosterone. Finally, testis injury can result in production of anti-sperm antibodies which can interfere with fertility.
