Get support: A professor of mine wrote a book entitled "heroin: it feels so good don't try it even once." the reason is that you will want to try it again. Don't. Find other ways to feel good. If you are seriously at risk, go to a narcotics anonymous meeting in your area and see what the future holds for you if you keep trying it, and also get some support from people who are trying to help themselves and you.

The chemicals that are most likely to cause addiction are those that reach the brain quickly, greatly stimulate the "pleasure center", and then leave relatively quickly.
