A member asked:

How long does it take it for allergy medicine to take effect?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

30-60min: Oral antihistamines take anywhere between 30 to 60 minutes to start working. Steroid nasal sprays may take up to 2 weeks, antihistamine nasal sprays take 20 minutes, and other medications can take longer. If your symptoms are bad, you may not notice a significant effect right away from the medications.
