Time and rest: Flu lasts about 7 to 10 days. If you see your doctor and get on antiviral medicine within the first 48 hours you might decrease the length and severity of your illness, but only by a little bit, and the antiviral meds are expensive. Your best bets are rest, fluids, soup, and meds for symptoms (like cough and congestion meds with a pain reliever). Stay home until you stop running fever.
