Depends on cause: Many cysts in the brain are congenital, and quite benign, such as an incidental arachnoid cyst. Infections such as parasites may present as a brain cyst and cause seizures. Some bad tumors may grow so fast that the insides may die and become cystic. If there is concern, contact a local neurosurgeon, and get evaluation.
