Several possiblities: It could be a muscular contraction. In general, if the abdominal pain persists beyond 4 hours, you should be evaluated. Without fever or vomiting you can call your primary doc and start in the outpatient setting. Hernia, inflammation, cyst are all possibilities. Good luck.
