LPR...: The reflux of fluid from your stomach which is frequently acidic, is called laryngopharyngeal reflux (lpr). This is a common variant of gastroesophageal reflux disease (gerd). It is treated the same as gerd with aggressive acid-suppressive drugs but tends to be more difficult to treat. If this is a recurrent problem then see you doctor.
