Many things: Could be due to a sexually transmitted infection; could be due to fibroid tumors causing more pain/cramping of the uterus following intercourse; could be referred midline painfrom an ovarian cyst. Could be a UTI or interstitial cystitis (an inflammatory condition of the bladder, that is often associated with painful intercourse). Some lab testing and eval by gyn would be prudent if it persists.
