Genetics: Two prior miscarriages due to chromosomal abnormalities is reason to see a geneticist. Your ob/gyn can refer you to this sub specialist.

Don't wait.: While someone can have a loss due to fetal chromosomal abnormalities, once someone has had two losses (or more) i would suggest seeing a board certified reproductive endocrinologist/infertility specialist for testing. Both partners will need to be seen.

See a geneticist now: You or hubby could be carrying a balanced chromosome translocation that could make your chances of a normal pregnancy approach zero. I recall one woman who went through 17 losses before she saw us in genetics. They can assess your risks of any issue & provide you a better understanding of your individual chances of success.
