Psoriasis: While it could be other possible dermatologic causes, it sounds as if you should ask your physician to evaluate the possibility that you may have psoriasis.

Get it checked.: This can't be diagnosed with the information that is available. A history, physical examination & other studies may be needed to determine cause/causes. Once accurately assessed a treatment plan can be developed.
