Immobilize: It depends on the type of fracture. Some require casts. Some require non weightbearing. Others can be treated in knee immobilizers that are removable braces. Some require surgery if they are displaced (shifted out of position.) some can even be treated with weight bearing as tolerated and no brace in certain situations.
