Slightly abnormal: This is slightly abnormal, but not dangerous: "subclinical hypothyroidism". The issue is controversial, but people who feel well may not need treatment. Pregnant women or women seeking a pregnancy should definitely take thyroid hormone though, as the fetus needs normal maternal thyroid hormone. There are no treatments other than thyroxine.
