Is pancreatic cancer rare in 25 year olds?

Yes.: But, not unheard of. The typical adenocarcinoma of the pancreas is much more common in middle-aged to elderly patients. There are some other types of cancer, more endocrine in nature, which can occur in younger patients. Make sure you have a discussion with your doctor, who can guide you to a competent surgeon and oncologist, if needed. Good luck.

Yes: But can occur in very low percent incidence and age is no exception for cancer.
