Different anatomy: Every woman's breasts are unique in their shape and size, along with variations in your chest wall anatomy. The distance between your breasts most likely has to do with the anatomy of the bone in the center of your chest, known as your sternum.

Because: In general, that's the way you were made. I often talk with patients about the width of their breasts. Just like size, breast position is different in each person.
