Not usually: Caffeine may, in fact, decrease the appetite. For this reason, it often appears in herbal weight loss pills ( which, in general, I do not recommend). Some people will eat less at meals if they have a cup of green tea before each meal.

Yes: Because it stimulates cells to function. It is not a good way to go if you have a loss of appetite.
