Hello everyday i notice i have clear fluid leaking from my vagina into my knickers. is this normal? if so how can it be prevented?

Clear fluid?: I would wear a pad. No urination issues? Not malodorous? Not pregnant i presume. No pain either? It doesn't sound like a problematic issue, maybe just a pad. If its mucus a birth control pill may help by thickening it so it's not runny but that may be a long shot. Gd luc.
