Why is premature graying stigmatized? it's pretty common isn't it?

Seeking Youth: In the us, a great deal is made of being youthful. What is promoted in the media can often impact what is popular. Of interest, graying is often seen as distinguished in men. Unfortunately it is not always seen in such a positive light in women. Early graying is largely determined by genetics. I don't know the statistics on how prevalent it is. I have learned to love my gray.
