What kind of antibiotics should i take for an infection in the throat?

Throat culture.: Not all antibiotics are right for all infections. Many times sore throats may be due to viruses. Recommend that you get a streph throat test done. The doctor will be able to prescribe an appropriate antibiotic if you have streph throat. Viral infections don't require antibiotics.
