How do you know if you have athletes foot?

Inflammed skin: Scaliness, redness, itching and burning in the skin of the foot are common signs of fungal infection. Try an otc antifungal medication as directed on the label. If it does not improve or worsen see a doctor. It might be a bacterial infection, eczema or other issue that requires a different approach.
