Mature baby: First question is when is the best time for fetal maturity. Second question is what is the safest time for mother and last question should be about convience for pt family or dr. Hopefully all can be safely met. Most drs. Agree, after 39 completed weeks.

~7 days B4 due date.: Studies have determined that the best time to perform a prelabor cesarean section is 39 weeks, or 7 days befor eyour due date. In rare circumstances, it may be even earlier, at the discretion of an obstetrician or maternal-fetal medicine specialist.
