Sometimes: A type of "neuropathy" is causalgia where there is a problem with both sensory nerves and sympathetic nervous system nerves. This can cause sweating and temperature changes, but only in the affected leg(s). It would not cause diffuse body sweating.

Sympathetic chain: Hormone excess from the sympathetic nervous system can lead to sweating. Surgery to alter this chain can occasionally help the symptoms but imaging wild be needed to rule out any mass or tumor.
