Your baby: Will be fine, you have fever blisters, you probably already had the virus and it was activated due to your lowered immune system. Zovirax, the topical, isn't gonna do much good, valacyclovir is safe in pregnancy and will resolve it much faster? See your doc for more details but it should be fine.
