I know it takes awhile for your body to adjust to birth control. how do you know when it's kicked in?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Soon: If by 'kicked in' you mean working as birth control, then soon. If you take your pill the day that your period starts, then it works right away as birth control. If you take your pill the sunday after your period starts then it can take up to two weeks to work as birth control.
