Iris dots: Black dots on the iris are most likely due to iris nevi or pigment variation. Rarely, pigmented lesions of the iris can be neoplastic in nature. Many other issues can cause iris pigment changes including topical and systemic medications. The dark spots should be monitored closely. See an eye doctor.
