Depends: I have seen warts that have taken years to grow into a large lesion and I have seen some that have developed in weeks.
The good thing is that their average lifespan is about 1 and 1/2 years!

What treatment?: It would depend on what was done to it. Medications like condylox (podofilox) take several weeks to work. Cryotherapy can take a couple of weeks to heal.
