Not true: This is absolutely false. Think about it... When you come into the office and we do a doppler evaluation of the fetal heart beat does that cause you to contract? No it does not. I am sorry but you got some bad information.

Well: A simple touch is not likely to do it. The uterus is a muscle. It will spasm prior to labor. Some things, dehydration, intercourse, standing long periods, stress and several things can do it. Not likely a touch but getting hit there could do it. Good luck.
