Costochondritis: A bump where you describe it in a female is usually costochondritis---inflammation at the joint between ribs and the cartilage. If it is still growing, have your doctor check it out. We usually get a cat scan of the chest to make sure it is not a malignant sarcoma or any other possibloe malignancy. See your octor.
