If you are having : Cramping low abdimal pain and brown discharge i would go in. If u r having unprotected intercourse it may be a cervical or uterine infection. Then again, you may just need to get on the pill or you may have a bladder infection? I would recommend u go get evaluated. Good luck with it, use 2 aleve (naproxen) 2x per day for pain but not with Aspirin or ibuprofin, not a cure but can help.

Probably period: Brown equals old blood. It sounds like that was your period although likely not a normal period for you. It is typical to have an "off" period every now and then. This usually corrects itself over the next few cycles. If it continues see your doctor to discuss cycle regulation. Birth control is very effective at regulating the cycle and preventing pregnancy.
