How can i slow down the effects of duchenne muscular dystrophy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Stay active: Stay as active as possible but do not overdo activity or overstress your muscles. Physical therapy is often helpful. Exercise in water is often helpful. Be sure to maintain normal body weight and get sufficient sleep. See a neurologist to discuss possible other treatments.
