Will i have to wait to be stitched after birth?

No: Any stitching that is done is almost always done right after delivery. Some doctors wait until the placenta is delivered but you shouldn't have to wait too long.

No: If there is a tear or an episiotomy that happens during your delivery, it is generally repaired right then. If you have an epidural, you shouldn't feel a thing. If you did it naturally, numbing medicine will be given locally so you won't feel the stitches. Most doctors use stitches that dissolve on their own, so you don't have to worry about having them removed later!
