See your PCP: A boil or abscess is something that can be easily treated by your pcp or someone at an urgent care facility. I would not wait to see the derm. It may just require some antibiotics, but it could also need to be lanced and drained. If you wait too long, you could make things far worse. That being said, if you are getting recurrent boils, then seeing a dermatologist may help you solve this.
