Sinuses: Often the source of the drainage is the sinuses. Often a steroid nasal inhaler is the answer. See your doctor.

HTN and the cold: Try Coricidin hbp or tussin dm. You want to avoid decongestants. I have always found that a simple saline nasal spray does a great job too. Hope you feel better soon.
