2 weeks: The "average" menstrual cycle lasts 28 days. Counting day #1 as the first day of your period, you will ovulate somewhere between day #12 and day #16 - right around 2 weeks after your period starts. That is when you want to have sex if you are trying to get pregnant. You should be taking prenatal vitamins, ideally for 3 months before trying to get pregnant for iron and folic acid.
