Who Knows? > Search: Suggestion: do your own search, google: "meloxicam pregnancy safety nih". Do a similar search for glucosamine. Personally, i would worry more about the NSAID meloxicam, especially 1st trimester. Certain agents are rx only for good reasons: concerns about safety (also efficacy) vs. Public ignorance & bad outcomes. Glucosamine, a building block of cartilage, probably safer, but most comes from china.
