400 mg 2x day: Or 200 mg 3-5 x day for people with normal immune systems. If immune system abnormal (hiv, chemo, transplant etc) then 400-800 mg 2-3 x day.

Ask you doctor: As i assume u mean genital herpes, either 400-800mg per day Valtrex (valacyclovir) usually works better the dose of that is 500-1000mg a day at your age you may only need the lesser dose please discuss with yoru doc.
