A member asked:

Bulging eyeballs out of sockets. what can i do to alleviate the symptoms?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bulging eyeballs: Not much. The most common causes of bulging eyeballs is an overactive thyroid gland, in which case the thyroid needs to be treated, but this only stops the bulging from progressing; it does not make it go away. Other causes of bulging are tumors, benign or malignant, behind the eye, or occasinally infections. See an ophthalmologist.
