A member asked:

Can someone go completely blind? if so, what happens?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Of course: Sadly people go blind from injury, strokes, intrinsic eye disease, inherited eye disease and other factors. When this happens you need an answer as to why and whether it is reversible from your ophthalmologist. Otherwise, if permanent, then you will need assistance for the blind from the proper organizations.
