Depends on severity: The complications of aortic stenosis and pregnancy depend on how ad is the stenosis. Mild to moderate is tolerated fine usually with close medical attention. Severe as is of concern. The reason is the amount of blood your heart has to pump when pregnant is much higher. This puts more stress on the heart. You should be monitored closely w/both your OB and cardiologist.

Depends: Serious aortic stenosis is better to correct prior to pregnancy. If not that severe , care at delivery is important. Attention to weight and blood pressure throughout are important to success.
