Currently yes: The practical answer is yes. The blood supply and nerves to the globe of the eye would be too hard to reconstruct. Remember the lens can be removed and replaced with an artificial one.

Yes: Other than corneal stem cells there are no other parts of the eye besides the cornea that are transplantable.
