Different problems.: Gallbladder disease tends to be distinct from gastritis or gerd with regurgitation. A ppi drug like Prevacid (lansoprazole) should be used short-term only if possible. I would consider a gerd workup, to include upper endoscopy (egd), and then perhaps other studies to evaluate your symptoms of regurgitation, that may be resolved with medical or surgical therapy.
