Never normal: Back pain is never normal but it is fairly common. Important to keep a diary of pain location and whether or not it travels anyware such as to your legs and how far down the legs. Also pay attention to things that can set it off as avoidance and lifestyle changes can go a long way. Make sure you are not having any weakness or bowel or bladder changes as well. Get eval from pcp and try pt.

Not normal.: Back pain is not normal. . Most cases I see are due to sitters disease or gait (ex; foot position). But you need to identify the origin and rule out more serious causes. Any neurologic issues like numbness in the legs, no muscle weakness, no fever, no urinary pain, fever, genital discharge, acute trauma, insect bites, etc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8TO8Il3vdxQ

Not uncommon: While back pain is not normal, it is fairly common. If it is bad enough, I would not hesitate to be seen for an accurate diagnosis and to discuss treatment options.

Back pain: is a common problem, but is not normal. Sometimes back pain is not caused by any abnormality of the spine, but something else like the kidneys. There a numerous potential causes for back pain, so the first step is to be evaluated to figure out what is going on, and then a treatment plan can be developed. Start off with your PCP.
