Hair Loss: Hair loss (hl) is a commonly associated with thyroid problems (hyper-/hypothyroidism). Some of the medications (e.g., levothyroxine) may by itself cause hl. Thyroid problems may also fall into a spectrum of autoimmune thyroid disease and proper evaluation of both hl and thyroid problem by an endocrinologist is warranted. Vitamin d is also important (http://www.Ncbi.Nlm.Nih.Gov/pubmed/12919165).
