What is causing red?: What is the source of the redness? You may need antibiotic, steroids, glaucoma drops, or lubricant. See an ophthalmologist.

Artificial tears: Artificial tears are your best choice for redness. If this does not work, then you need to see an ophthalmologist to determine why you have redness.

What are the best eye drops to use for allergies?

Everyone's different: As a class of eye drugs the mast cell stabilizers are usually the best choice for most people. There are a number of effective agents that work well and are safe to use. Its unusual to have a preference for just one (but it happens). Work with your health care provider to select a safe effective agent that hopefully is in your medical insurance formulary.

What would be the best eye drops to use for a busted eye vessel ?

Dr. Richard Bensinger

No solution: If you have spontaneously had a small leak from a surface eye vessel, then that is red blood which cannot respond to any medication or treatment. It will disappear in 3-10 days depending upon the amount. If recurrent or the vision is impaired, then see your ophthalmologist.

What are the best eye drops for welders flash?

Dr. Richard Bensinger
Ophthalmology 53 years experience
UV burn: Welder's flash is a uv burn of the corneal skin like a sunburn on your regular skin. It is quite painful although topical anesthetics can take away much of that. However these inhibit healing and are not advised except for diagnostic purposes. Thorough and frequent lubrication is usually used along with systemic analgesics and sometimes bandage contact lenses. These heal quickly fortunately.
