Body surface looks: Aesthetic medicine is the new subspecialty of aesthetic surgery devoted to refining appearance using non-invasive methods. Many of the standard treatments (botox, tissue fillers, laser resurfacing and chemical peels) are now being offered under the name aesthetic medicine which any doctor with an active state license can use. Aesthetic medicine is not a treatment but a collection of treatments.

Aesthetic "medicine": This term is generally used for non-surgical treatments to improve your appearance. This can range from skin care and topical treatments to medical products injected into the skin to provide a more youthful appearance. I caution you to seek a provider that has years of specific training in aesthetics--plastic surgeons or dermatologists.
