Can you take metamucili everyday?

Yes: In spite of the advertising and reference to this as a laxative, I don't put it in that category. When water is added it traps the moisture within the granules and retains it as it moves through the intestines. This makes sure the nearby fecal matter retains moisture & can remain soft. In deference to those who caution you not to use laxatives "to long" this could be used daily for months or years
