The Basics: Basic medical supplies will suffice, including supplies to clean and dress minor wounds or deal with minor issues like small slivers. Basic meds like tylenol, (acetaminophen) motrin, cold medications, topical antibiotics or antifungals or gentle steroids for insect bites. Medicine cabinet: Thermometer, Normal Saline nose drops and bulb syringe, acetominophen (consider oral and suppository), bandaids, triple antibiotice ointment, Hydrocortisone 1/5%-1% cream, benadryl, (diphenhydramine) ice pack, heat pack, fine tweezers, gauze, bandage tape, ace wrap, medication measuring device like a syringe. Don't forget a vaporizer-very helpful for colds. Cold products are no longer recommended for the young.
