Chlamydia and trying to have a child?

Cure the infection: Chlamydia will not prevent you from conceiving, but if you know you have it, get treated first. If you discover you have it after conceiving (and you will be tested by your ob), you will be treated and retested to confirm cure. Chlamydia is a problem for your unborn child only at birth. A child passing down an infected birth canal can contract chlamydia with several serious consequences.

Maybe: This germ can strike the sensitive areas within your fallopian tubes and make your chance of natural conception less likely. Your obgyn can do some testing to see if these have been effected. If they have, and you still have healthy ovaries, you could have kids using the assistance of ivf to bypass the problem.
